Paul often brings visual delight into his performances with his “crankies.” In this old-fashioned technology images scroll across a wooden frame as a spool of paper is cranked by hand to accompany a song or story. Paul has become part of the crankie community by creating and performing more than half a dozen of these labour intensive visual treats.
